Part of this
work is using novel Bayesian methods to predict sets of co-regulated
genes (regulons), and to develop more sensitive methods to scan genomes
in order to identify additional genes that belong to a regulon.
In addition, Prof. Lawrence is collaborating with chemical engineers
to develop high-throughput technologies to validate these predicted
sets and to identify cognate transcription factors.
