Overview

RPI is currently attempting to assemble a group of industrial partners who would support the Bioinfomatics Center and benefit from having access to RPI trained students and research collaborations with faculty.

Industries: IBM

In the summer of 2001, IBM generously donated about $214,000 worth of computer equipment to house the bioinformatics center's web site. This is a one time SUR (Shared University Research) grant, and it will allow us to setup a first class web server that can perform many time consuming jobs simultaneously.
