Overview

The RPI-Wadsworth joint Center for Bioinformatics comprises faculty and staff at both institutions who are involved in research and training in the area of bioinformatics. The Center is administered by an Executive Director and two Scientific Co-Directors, and has two faculty working groups.

The Executive Board

This committee is advisory to the executive director and scientific co-directors. The members are bioinformaticists and representatives of key fields at both institutions that interface with Bioinformatics.

The Bioinformatics Group

This group is composed of faculty-level researchers at the two institutions actively working in bioinformatics and closely related fields, such as cheminformatics. The group meets regularly to discuss joint research projects, to plan and organize seminars and conferences, and to work towards establishing training and industry partner programs.
